Valeria is a Peruvian-American artist based in Bremerton, WA. She has been practicing observational drawing since she could hold a pencil and graduated with a Bachelors in Fine Art in 2016.

In 2025, after a long break from the pursuit of a discipline in art, she spent three weeks as an Artist-in-Residence at the Chateau d’Orquevaux Artists and Writers Residency in Champagne-Ardenne, France. She explored plein air painting in the French countryside and gained inspiration from the landscape and artists surrounding her.

Her favorite subjects are portraits and landscapes expressed in a variety of mediums such as oil paint and graphite. She seeks to continue her artist’s journey in rich environments and the magic of still moments.
